What to Expect at Your First Visit
The initial new patient appointment lasts about two hours. The majority of this time is spent with Dr. Carson investigating your symptoms, lifestyle habits, and all factors that may be contributing to your current state of imbalance. Dr. Carson will then suggest individualized lifestyle, dietary, and supplement protocols appropriate for bringing your body back into balance. Wellness involves full participation from both the individual and the practitioner, so education regarding disease processes and wellness protocols is a key part of every visit.
Follow Up Visits
Follow up visits are shorter in length, but equal in intensity as Dr. Carson reviews your progress, discusses any new developments, and adjusts wellness protocols. These visits usually last between 30 and 60 minutes.
Services
Although Dr. Klara Carson, ND holds a doctorate in naturopathic medicine from the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine in Bridgeport, Connecticut, the State of New York does not currently recognize naturopathy as a form of medicine nor is Dr. Carson licensed as a physician in the State of New York.
The consulting services provided are not meant to be used in the place of licensed medical care, and Dr. Carson recommends that all individuals retain a primary care physician. Dr. Carson is happy to collaborate with your medical doctor to provide you with integrative holistic care.
